If you like small fonts, you can configure your webbrowser to ues Verdana
at 7pt as the default font. Instead of specifying something which is hard
to read for some people, you should probably do that. (In Internet
Explorer, you can do it from Tools/Internet Options; in Mozilla, it's
Edit/Preferences; in Opera, File/Preferences.)
When designing webpages, the most complicated thing you should do to the
body text is specify a broad font-family (one of serif, sans-serif or
monospace). If there's a font you really love, chances are there's someone
else who really hates it/finds it illegible, and it's your audience, after
all, that you're writing your webpage for. (Not that you should have a
very boring page: I'm talking about the body text, not the layout/table
of contents/headers etc.)

Yesterday I was a dog. Today I'm a dog. Tomorrow I'll probably still
be a dog. Sigh! There's so little hope for advancement.
