This was an accident (like prom night pregnancies ;)). What I meant to say
was that on the Island there is a religious group (the Tha'ttethale'dra or
Daughters of the Companion), a subgroup of the Yamimbwo'ro'ndra or
Ameliorists, who refuses to use the inanimate gender because they believe
everything is alive. This is less difficult in Early and Classical Lahabic
than it is in a natlang like Latin. It's not quite an artificial language,
but it isn't a 'natural' dialect either - and IMHO it's weird and wonderful.
