No, that's a pretty factual statement. :) Both Patrick Ryan (the fruitcake
mentioned above) and Edo Nyland are top contenders for fruitcakiness. For
those unfamiliar with Edo Nyland, he claims that Benedictine monks invented
English, German, Latin, Greek, Russian, Sanskrit, Hebrew, Hungarian,
Japanese, and many others from...drumroll, please...Basque! I always knew
those monks (especially the Irish ones) were bright cookies, but this really
takes the cake...er, fruitcake. :)
I'm not quite sure which mental disease I wish to attribute to that theory,

manages to fit in the whole "Goddess culture overthrown by an evil
