Yes! Of course it's arbitrary, but each example (English and French) is
language-specific. Finding the specific "fields" for your own Conlang is
part of what makes it fun. Hopefully, your collection of conlang-specific
fields, whether semantic, phomemic, phonetic, syntactical and so on, will
give it its individual personality.
