Jeff Rollin's post reminded me a polysemous Spanish verb, that sort-of
applies here too: hacer.
temperture: hace sol/calor/frío 'it's sunny/hot/cold' and others I think,
but only if they lack an associated verb (thus not lluvia ~llover, nieve
~nevar)
temporal: 1. hace años 'years ago', hace tiempo '(some) time ago, a while
back', hace mucho tiempo 'a long time ago'; 2, related: hace tiempo (años, 5
meses) que vivo aqui "I've been living here for (a long time, years, 5
months) etc.
Another I can recall: hacer una pregunta 'to ask a question'
