Specifically, the Skeksis had their own language which was redone in
English; the Gelflings always spoke English as far as I know. A bonus track
on the special edition DVD includes the surviving examples of Skeksis
speech (which I read somewhere was supposed to be based on ancient
Egyptian). The Podlings still do speak their own language (which bears some
resemblance to the language formerly known as Serbo-Croatian), and Aughra
speaks a few words of what sounds like it might be that same language.
