I wrote a lot of stuff:

I should add that I'm thinking about abbreviating this in the style
numbers allow it.  E.g. 2458 is

     3 10 2 + 2 10 4 + 10 5 + 8

But you can abbreviate:

     3 10 2 4 5 8

For dates, its complicated, since numbers are nested and > 16.  Maybe:

     7 second 3 10 2 + 3  = year 2003
   + 6 second 5 2 2       = month 5 [week] 2 [day] 2

Or even:
     7 second 3 10 2 0 0 3 5 2 2

Hmm.  Maybe. :-) But who wants to be provided with that kind of
information encoding?

(The good thing is, there are digits up to 16, so the month digit
triggers off no problems.  Computer scientists...)
