Needless to say Daniel gets 10 out of 10 points! :-)
Nobody suggested anything outrageous -- even uvular [R] is an acceptable
allophone in Swedish, although I don't use it. (For the curious: I vary
between fricative and tapped alveolar allophones, although I find a trill,
either alveolar or uvular, to be the Desirable Thing.)
