Easter in Jarrda is "shegspir'relh". Literally this means "found egg day", referring to the tradition of searching for hidden plastic Easter eggs full of jellybeans and other yummy treats. But it also sounds like "Shakespeare day", which inspired the Jarrda tradition of reading Shakespeare on Easter. Of course, this tradition started before I decided to give Jarrda to the raccoon-people (who wouldn't have ever heard of Easter eggs or Shakespeare). -- languages of Azir------> ----<http://www.io.com/~hmiller/languages.html>--- Thryomanes/Herman Miller "If all Printers were determin'd not to print any h i l r i . o thing till they were sure it would offend no body, m l e @ o c m there would be very little printed." -Ben Franklin
