I like cyrillic a lot, but it's a lot more "domineering" than the Latin
alphabet, due to all the angles a lot of its letters have, especially in
sans serif fonts. A lot of the lower case letters just look like the
capital forms. There is a kind of elegance to the more times-roman style
fonts, and the cursive looks quite fancy.
But overall, i think the Latin alphabet has it for simplicity, and
softness (unless you write in CAPS THEN IT LOOKS AS DOMINEERING AS
CYRILLIC :)).
