I'm semi-competent in Malay (which is very close to Indonesian, just
like Spanish and Portuguese are close to each other), so I might be able
to help you if you have specific questions about it.
I can also speak Mandarin quite fluently, but never studied its grammar
seriously, so I might be weaker on that. (Not that Chinese grammar has
that much depth, since it's so analytic :-)
BTW I'm new to the list too... just found it last week, in fact. I've been
dabbling with making a conlang for a long time, but never really knew what
is needed until I started looking on the web, and found the LCK and this
mailing list.
