Woe is I, that I *still* haven't read _Dune_, and which will be remedied
soon. (I'm in college and I read the Foundation trilogy for the 1st time
last week. Sad, isn't it? I couldn't believe what I'd missed out on!)
Thanks for the pointer!

I looked for some stuff on Arabic. I'm unfortunately not at all
acquainted with that family of languages, except maybe via Jewish friends
and an essay I found on Arabic morphology on the web. I'll keep researching.
I have grammars in German, French, Russian, Japanese, Korean, and Welsh
(but the Welsh one is sitting in South Korea because I'm scared to touch
it). I've tried to find a used intro Arabic/other-Semitic-language
grammar, and there was a fairly cheap one for Turkish that I may pick up
next time I can scare up the cash. My housemates aren't going to be
happy with me picking up *more* books, but they'll live. =^)
