I'm not talking about I'd versus I'll, I'm talking about "I'll" vs.

Of course there's a difference there, but the examples I was replying to
were:
3.) I'll eat (promisary): "You're going to eat your vegetables, right?"
"Yes,
mom, I'll eat them."
10.) I'll eat (conditional): "I'll eat if you get me something." (Here
the emphasis is on the action taking place if something happens, as
opposed to it not taking place because something doesn't/didn't
happen(s))
I'm saying that those are two different uses of the exact same thing.
