I guess I should have said verb *inflections*. The fact that Greek has so many possible combinations of person, number, tense, voice, and mood, each with its own inflection, and many of which are confusingly similar, is what makes it so difficult. Fusional languages in general seem more difficult to me than agglutinating languages, but this was just one example that came to mind.
