admit to inventing a language and visiting a listserv where others have
done
the same; but I can't talk about my own conlang in an academic setting.  I

can talk about "conlanging."  The academic world loves analysis and
generalization.

I am more on the road to doing the first than the second.  If only I had a
couple
of best-selling novels out there all about the Teonim, and had sold the
rights to
a movie.  It would make things so much easier.  Thanks for your
encouragement.
We'll see what comes of this.
