linguistic schools

Hello all,

I was just looking through some colleges and
universities and I was wondering if any of you would
suggest or recommend a particular school as having an
excellent linguistics program.  I'm looking for
something along the lines of applied linguistics, not
so much the theoretical stuff.

Forgot to mention, I would prefer this school to be in
the continental US.
