*delurking: Or, possibly just as well, someone should write a CXS/X-SAMPA parser in TeX with TIPA output. I started considering it some four years ago, but didn't (and still don't) know enough about parsers to attempt it. I don't know if it's realistic to make such a design workable, though. Simen
