I'd always liked Laurie Marks usage in "Moonbane Mage". If I remember
right, the race to which main character belongs is nongendered.
Anyway, the 3d person s. pronoun used is "id" (nom.) / "ids" (gen.) /
"idre" (dat., acc.) I like it because it works well in English (very
close in sound to "it"); though I suppose the two could be confused to
a certain extent. It didn't take too long to sort out, either. And
_then_ I found that there is a glossary at the back. :/
Just one possibility.
