Have people arrive from an English-speaking country via magical means?
(For example, through a magical wardrobe, or a Portkey, or whatever.
For example, a bunch of Greek-speaking people ended up in Almea, Mark
Rosenfelder's conworld, bringing Christianity and the Greek language.)
