The question is moot now, but it just occurred to me that perhaps a Terran-- or any species-- who had to _learn and be trained_ to use telepathy, might have some initial difficulty communicating with people whose telepathy is inborn, in everyday use and essentially nothing special. Different wiring, different areas of the brain, perhaps :-)))
