This is happening to me, too, as the weather warms up and I begin to sort
through boxes and boxes of stuff in my shed (all packed up in 1990). Books
I didn't know I had. Class notes from the 70s (out they go!).
Long-forgotten wordlists from Indonesia, and notebooks full of ramblings,
including some very early Kash, assorted scripts, etc. etc. A fascinating
but time-consuming job, since I have to read everythng before deciding
whether to chuck it. I'm a terrible pack-rat, and my sister has nightmares
about me dying suddently, and who will deal with all this stuff..........?
