I noticed this difference too, but just assumed that the young Greebo
alien was speaking Huttese (which seems to be the lingua franca of
Tatooine) while the adult Greebo from the original movie was speaking
a different language.
I have serious doubts that the makers of the Star Wars movies know
or care about the answers to these esoteric questions, though! :-)
