Me too. I expected something very Mongolian-like and was positively surprised! Yet

inexorably reminds me of Tibetan in some odd manner... BTW I have changed the rules for how Finos script is written by left-handed and right-handed writers respectively. Formerly the signs were mirror-reversed according to writing-direction; now they are rotated 90 degrees, leftists writing like this (best viewed in mono-width): O G @ P H A Q I B R K C S L D T M E N F Where @ represents the "beginning of text" sign necessary for correct reading (at least in non-cursive styles, where the same shape turned in different directions means different things.) Rightists write horisontally from left to right. It could conceivably have been the other way (leftists writing right-left-horizontal and rightists writing left-right-vertical) but this arrangement is ordinary-WP-friendly! :-) Probably hands with any degree of cursiveness will look different according to the handedness of the scribe. I don't regard this as an aesthetic problem, but it might be a practical problem for readers. /BP B.Philip Jonsson mailto:bpj@netg.se mailto:melroch@my-deja.com ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~__ Anant' avanaute quettalmar! \ \ __ ____ ____ _____________ ___ __ __ __ / / \ \/___ \\__ \ /___ _____/\ \\__ \\ \ \ \\ \ / / / / / / / \ / /Melroch\ \_/ // / / // / / / / /___/ /_ / /\ \ / /Melarocco\_ // /__/ // /__/ / /_________//_/ \_\/ /Eowine__ / / \___/\_\\___/\_\ I neer Pityancalimeo\ \_____/ /ar/ /_atar Mercasso naan ~~~~~~~~~Cuinondil~~~\_______/~~~\__/~~~Noolendur~~~~~~ || Lenda lenda pellalenda pellatellenda cuivie aiya! || "A coincidence, as we say in Middle-Earth" (JRR Tolkien)
