They are a bible society. Although many countries have been
booting them out they are still doing a lot of work in the
Western Amazon basin, in Papua-New Guinea and in Africa. One my
languages of interest is Aguaruna, (Jivaroan, Peru) and all of my
Aguaruna materials are from them. They used to be very, very cheap.
Microfiche sold for $2 per sheet and books not much more. They are
considerably more expensive now although not on a par with Mouton.
Thankfully, they have moved progressively away from tagmemic grammar
models. If you are not fluent in tagmemics, they might as well be
in (fill in the blank with whichever language you are least familiar
with.)
