I doubt that parseltongue was actually developed as a language. The story
didn't contain enough parseltongue to warrant making a grammar and lexicon
for it, unless they had an enthusiastic linguist on the movie staff; and
as it sounds like a lot of hissing/whispering sounds taken from the
english language, I don't think a linguist worked on't.
Now that I've spoken, someone's probably going to come along and prove me
wrong.
