Heya all,

I know that Tocharian is an Indo-European language, and my reason for
using words from it is that it's distantly related to (descended from)
Nostratic. Urasti has an original grammer (at least, one I created) but
uses word roots taken from Nostratic. If I construct a language for the
Yorayash based on Tocharian words, it would reflect the long separation of
the Yorayash from the Urasti, although they're both descended from the
early human population of the Westland.

In any case (hee hee) is there a resource on Tocharian that someone would
care to recommend? And in a book on the Etruscan city of Tarquinia there
was a mention of *The Etruscan Language*. Is this book worth reading?
I've always wanted to play a very eccentric, snooty, vague elf who talks
to himself in Etruscan with an English accent....

Jim
