I take it this is an uncommon situation?

Do you have a quick sketch of who/what these parties are? Are these parties in any drawn along cultural/national lines? In other words, are there parties that are majority English, Scottish, Kemruis, etc?

I _love_ this! Is Tejas *there* a kind of oil based potentate? Only Spanish speaking in stead of Arabic?

Is border skirmishing common in this area? Do I guess right that there is no Diznee World *there*, or am I hoping for too much? What is Fla-Car like? Is it a confederation of some kind or some kind of agglomeration of left over Spanish colonies? Cuba, I presume, is one of the larger portions of this country.

Is the deal one term of 10 years with no repeats or something else?

:D Would that be Rutherford "Rudy" B. Fogg? Have California or Mexico expressed any concerns over this quandry? What about those parts of the country north of the St. Lawrence? Any ideas on borders for the countries and provinces involved? A map will have to be worked out. Padraic.
