Esperanto does: je. I always figured it was because Zamenhoff
got lazy. It has a specific purpose (I believe to say at what o' clock
something is done), but then he said that it could be used for
*any* preposition, but that this shouldn't be overdone. In other
words, he came up with a quick fix for any problem that he hadn't
yet encountered. That's my theory. Anyone else know the actual
history?
