In The Netherlands the smallest coin we have is 5 cents. We have 5, 10 en 25
cent coins, and 1, 2.5 and 5 guilder coins (until january 1st, that is).
Shopkeeper like prices like 1.99 etc., so if you pay in cash, all totals are
rounded to the nearest 5c. If you pay with your bank pas, you pay the exact
amount..
E.g., if you pay three bars of chocolate, 1.99 each, then the total is 5.97.
Cash, you would pay 5.95, using a bank pass or credit card, you would pay
5.97.
Of course, all this will change in january.
