Hello all! Druni for the Conglang Book:
1. Name of Conlang: Druni
2. Name of Conlanger: Jim Hopkins
3. Sample sentence: "Ta ebonu Druna anarakyaren u vutit shol dini ta
Fereshese Sitsholarun eshkizhe lugavyizha. Chadlan sonainen ta eboniena
Druna sheypaesea!"
4. Translation: "The peoples of Drun are happy that their language may be
included in the Book of Conlangs. Many thanks from the peoples of Drun to
everyone."
5. Description: Druni is one of the four languages spoken on the Planet Drun,
a planet also sometimes called Itlan. It was chosen at the time of Planetary
Unification as the planetwide language of Drun. It has one declension of
nouns in nine cases; one verb conjugation with both active and passive forms
and a full range of compound tense forms. At present there is a growing
vocabulary of approximately 10, 000 words. There is a native script which
has been fontified for PC use as well as a handwritten cursive script also
used ornamental and calligraphic writing.
