Yes-- Dan Jones translated several of our names into two of his conlangs; post of 1/25/01. Otherwise: there are 2 ways to go: (1) adapt it phonetically e.g Kash ropetro (1st choice) or rombetro. Gwr _lo br to_ [lo b3^ to] or maybe _lo b1q_ [lo b1?], (the first syl. could also be _llo_ [d_lo]*) --tone assignment would depend if they could make it mean somthing naughty or at least double-entendre..... (*retroflexed [d] with lateral release) (2) Translate it (A.Miles answered this)-- you can also find name-meanings via google. Look for "baby names" or some such.......
