The verb-paradigm looks like one of the ones I came up with for
Panowa, perfect, plusquamperfect etc. I really think one of the
best things to spicy up a conlang is to learn a natlang. Prior
to learning English for example, my conlang-sketches were just
simplified versions of Norwegian, my mother tongue (or "L1" as it
is called in linguist-circles, English being my "L2").

A good thing about German is that it is so systematic (at least
the bits I've seen of it), having a good memory for patterns I
can still struggle my way through a newspaper. (If you've been
memorizing the strong (aka. irregular) verbs and your teacher
claims there's no system to 'em, don't believe him/her, copy the
list and sort the words by their vowels and you'll see what I
mean. Amazing patterns.)
