(fervently) Amen. He's great. And despite not being handy with
languages in general, he might even be willing to learn spoken Japanese
with me. He's always been supportive of my various harebrained pursuits,
no matter how incomprehensible they may seem to him.

<G> Yes--one of the reasons I was so happy to learn about "real"
conlangers and that I wasn't just weird for wanting to join in! I
confess that in some situations I'm happier to find female company, but
that's because there are areas in which females seem to be rarer
(roleplaying games is one example).
