I find your project higly intereting. In fact it is very similar to what I would
like to do. Except that I am just beginning to think of it, and your project
seems already on its way.
For now I only know mandarin and japanese (plus a very very very little of
vietnamese). But as I intend to do quite the same researches as you do, I would
really apreciate If you could share you growing knowledge with me. And of
course If I can be of any help, I will be glad to. I don't know how deep is
your knowledge of japanese and mandarin, but for these two, I can be of some
help. I have studied japanese for three years, and been there more than two
months and I own some usefull reference books about grammar and kanji. For
mandarin, I know less, but it will change soon, since I am in china now and I
will study chinese in university for one year. In am in shanghai, so even if i
do not intend (I mean, I do not intend NOW) to learn the language, I can easily
get some information.
If you are intrested, I would really like to colaborate with you. If not on the
conlang itself (but why not), at least on building the required knowledge to
achieve this project.
