Yuk! I can't imagine people being so rude and insulting. Maybe I'm just
lucky. I don't normally just "bring up" my conlanging in public, but
I've had folks from work take a peek at my web pages, generally for
other reasons (anyone who's been there knows I've got some artwork
posted too). Now these folks didn't *have* to come back and say anything
about the conlanging. But invariably they do, and call it "interesting"
or "fun". These are also people that know I'm studying foreign natlangs,
and I'm guessing they sort of lump it together.
