Dictionaries of English can't be wrong, as it is only the
dictionaries themselves that define how English is spelled.
There is, after all, no academy or group-on-high who gets to
decide just what is correct English, only thousands of
dictionary-makers with different motives, accents, dialects,
continents, traditions and what have you.
Oh, and there are more people using English as an L2 now than
there are "natives". I wonder how that will pan out...
