And only 200 miles away from me; how soon we forget. But many, even some who
live there, call it "India-noplace" :-))))) It's really quite a nice city.
Back in the mid-1940s when I was collecting maps of cities, some of the
puffery included with the Indy map claimed it was the largest state capital
located on a non-navigable river. Maybe true then, but not any more, I'm
sure Denver, Phoenix and perhaps Austin are now larger :-)))
French would stress the final syllable, wouldn't it?
