Actually, it seems to me like this is one of the few situations where an
online translation tool would be eminently useful, since it's just a
dictionary.

Ok, I just used Babelfish on the thing and it gets about 80%--not quite as
good as I'd hoped. I'd say use it, and/or an elementary Spanish dictionary?
The words are all pretty basic. At least, I don't have time to translate
this for you, sorry!

Could anyone translate

I don't speak Spanish, unfortunately. And I doubt any of the machine
translation tools around would work (e.g. Google's 'Language Tools' etc.).
