Quite some concepts in Tyl-Sjok come from Mandarin. Leaving out
constituents (especially pronouns) that are clear from context is one
of them. Isolating nature is another. I left out things like
composites that make Mandarin non-isolating, however (like
`xiong1-di4-jie3-mei4' or `fu4-mu3' or `fang2-jian1').

Ditto. :-) Except that in Tyl-Sjok, there are no verbs, really. Often
it is most easy to think of words as verbs, though.
