Artlangs are conlangs too, in fact some of us are biased enough to think
that they are the most interesting kind!

This is actually what is called phonotactics. Not really part of the
grammar.

You'll get unstuck! This is as good a start as any. Most of us start with
phonetics and phonotactics so we can get a feel for the "texture" of the
language before we embark on syntactic considerations.
