That was an intentional distortion?
I just thought that the Ba`al worshippers gave their local incarnations
of the Ba`al funky names :-) .
Possibly, but since Izevel can also mean "lack of garbage" (like
_i-khavod_, Ichabod = lack of honor), it could be a distortion in either
direction.
