Interesting this Iohannes name how many aspects could have en each language. In Colombia, John (and Jonh and Jhon), Giovanni (occationally Yovani) and Iván are common names besides Spanish standard form of Juan. But my favorite is Jacob (Latin?), which surfaces in Spanish as Jacobo, Diego, Santiago and Jaime. All forms are very common, and pretty old. -- Carlos Th who would be... Carl Mab Tomas?
