Re: TECH: Why this low-tech forum?

I'm addicted to a number of mailing lists and online forums, and rather like both.

I would, however, strongly prefer CONLANG to remain as a mailing list. Apart
from the tendency to have a higher signal/noise ratio of mailing lists, I
believe CONLANG would lose it's unique personality if it were converted into a
forum. As mentioned, there already are online fora for discussing conlangs - let
the list remain for us who want to commincate about conlangs via the mailing
list medium.
