I'm aware of this distinction, but see it violated so often that I cannot be
bothered to uphold it consistently. I'm generally all for maintaining
distinctions, but this particular fight does seem pretty lost to me (outside
scholarly litterature).
However, what I said above was intended to be parsed as [biological sex]/
[gender], so in this case you cannot blame me for anything worse than being
ambiguous.
That humans have two biological sexes is debatable; chromosomal and anatomical
gender doesn't map quite one-to-one for instance.
