Umm. Read up on your own history; there were few Asians in Australia because your government carefully kept them out from 1901 onwards. Indeed, the very first law passed by the Federal Parliament was an Immigration Restriction Act. The policy showed a few cracks in the 50s and 60s, but wasn't definitely killed off until 1978. There's a good evenhanded writeup at http://test.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_Australia_Policy . -- Even a refrigerator can conform to the XML John Cowan Infoset, as long as it has a door sticker jcowan@reutershealth.com saying "No information items inside". http://www.reutershealth.com --Eve Maler http://www.ccil.org/~cowan
