I'm not sure about "female eunuch". The office of
eunuch (keeper of the couch) was traditionally a
male domain in such places where practiced.
What's interesting is that a fair percentage of
the half million hysterectomies performed in the
US each year involve ovary removal - making for a
rather large number of "female eunuchs" walking
around.
