The fountain pen is now my preferred instrument when I'm writing by
hand. I have a Pelikan 100 and a Parker Super 21 which used to belong
to my great-grandmother. The Pelikan is more reliable, but the line is
nicer with the Parker. And I just scored a pint of Sheaffer Skrip ink
which was about to be thrown out here at work since no one uses it. It
has a nice watery look which gives a lot of variety to the texture of a
handwritten page.
