Tho, I will say that beyond that, there are dialectal minimum pairs,
like, in my dialect, then/thin (due to the Southern US merger of /E/ and
/I/ before nasals) or mouth/mouthe. I believe "teeth/teethe" is a
minimum pair in every dialect.
But, please, no "my dialect has ..." comments. :-)
