A glossary may be "better" than an interlinear, but sometimes an interlinear is essential. I don't think that a Lojban version would be intelligible from a glossary, especially the cmavo (function words), which are too different from those used in other languages.

Yes: to the relay master but not to the next participant.

1. Translate the text you receive into your language, using the aids provided by your predecessor. Send the translation and your own aids to your successor. "Aids" may include a grammar sketch, a glossary, an interlinear, or whatever seems appropriate, but *not* a full translation into grammatical English. 2.
