For almost every website in inexistance, you can find an archive of it
at http://www.archive.org/ (the main exceptions, I think, from ones that
control content by using question marks in the url; and an unpredictable
set that the maintainers have asked not to be archived). So following
links from http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.valdyas.org/ should
get you what you want. Although the servers're often slow, and sometimes
some files are missing from the database.
But it's an incredibly useful resource after you've follow a link that's
404 and not obviously a typo or when a server's down or whatever. Aside
from a web browser and internet connection, it is the only indispensible
tool for browsing the web.
